Our Story
Founded on a passion for welding and problem-solving, Steel City Fabrication started with a simple goal: to provide dependable, high-quality fabrication services that customers can count on. Our owners, Bryer and Garett, began welding together when they were in high school, putting up fences and working on miscellaneous projects around town. Once graduating high school, they enrolled in the Welding Program at Eastern Wyoming College, gaining valuable welding and fabrication skills and knowledge.
After completing college, they continued working together and eventually their business endeavors lead them to Bryan-College Station. For over several years the’ve worked as mobile welders working on large building structures, bridges, manufacturing plants, building fence, gates, and many other miscellaneous projects. Over the years, they’ve grown through word-of-mouth, reputation, high quality work, and strong relationships with clients. This growth has graciously allowed us the opportunity to start Steel City Fabrication to better serve our current customers and expand our services in the industry.

Meet Owner / Operator, Bryer Wadhams!
Bryer is originally from Pueblo, Colorado and became a Texas resident in 2019. Bryer had an eye for welding from a young age from his grandpa Johnny and has continued to further his interests and education. He graduated from the Eastern Wyoming College Welding Program and worked as a mobile welder and fabricator through high school and college. After graduating college, Bryer also focused on growing his mobile welding business, and made his way to Texas.
Meet Owner / Operator, Garett Ludwig & Business Manager, Ashley Ludwig!
Garett is originally from Pueblo, Colorado and became a Texas resident in 2022. Garett has a passion for welding and fabricating since high school. He graduated from the Eastern Wyoming College Welding Program and worked as a mobile welder and fabricator through high school and college. Once he graduated college, he dug deeper into his mobile welding business, which eventually led him to Texas. Garett and Bryer have worked together for over 6 years mobile welding, gaining more experience and expanding their customer base.
Ashley Ludwig is an OG Texas resident coming from the Houston area. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and double minored in Equine and Ag Business. Once completing college in 2020, she did agricultural sales for an international company for 3 years. Ashley currently oversee’s all of our business operations, social media platforms, and ensures that everything runs smoothly on the office side.
